BOND 2024 BACKGROUND:
On Tuesday, November 5, 2024, the Underwood Community School District will hold an election, presenting voters with one question to authorize general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $12,520,000 for facility and learning environment improvements.
HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM THE 2023 BOND?
After the failed November 2023 bond and recognizing the ongoing needs of our school facilities, we engaged the community through a district-wide survey last spring and collaborated with a community advisory committee. Based on this input, the School Board eliminated several scope items and reduced costs by over a million dollars.
