Underwood High School Band and Choir Planning Trip to New Orleans

Groups seeking donations to defray the cost

This spring, the Underwood High School band and choir will be traveling to New Orleans to participate in various kinds of activities. These activities include band and choir clinics at a local university, a private concert with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, a Cajun Pride Swamp Tour, and a tour of the Audubon Aquarium of the Americans, among many other things. Taylor Jensen, a choir student, says she is most excited for the Cajun Pride Swamp Tour because of the chance to see an alligator. Abby Hoffman, a participant in both band and choir, is most excited for the private concert with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. Anna Larsen, also a choir student, says she is most excited for making memories with her friends.

To make this trip possible, the band and choir students are asking for your support by donating to their funds. Thank you for your support and consideration as the students look forward to this exciting learning opportunity! If you would like to help, please send your donation to the Underwood Music Boosters through Venmo to @Underwoodmb or drop off a check made out to Underwood Music Boosters at the High School.
