Foutch Captures Fifth Place

Freshman 103-pounder Andrew Foutch brought home a fifth place finish from the recently completed Iowa State Wrestling Championships. Andrew capped off a sensational season by winning his first two matches in Des Moines to enter the semi-finals, then dropped back-to-back losses, before rebounding with a convincing victory in the 5th and 6th place match. Also competing for the Eagles were sophomores Mike Novotny (135#), Drake Fanslau (140#), and junior Landon Eberl (145#). Each of those three battled hard but dropped their two matches at state. Congratulations to Andrew on your state medal!
