Underwood Invades SWIBA Honor Band

Underwood took 14 students to Red Oak High School last Saturday, December 12th, all with the hopes of a successful audition into the 2010 Southwest Iowa Honor Band. Next to All-State, SWIBA Honor Band is the most notable achievement a band student can attain. Of the 14 students an Underwood record 9 successfully auditioned. Please congratulate the following students: 11th/12th Grade Honor Band - *Katelyn Larsen (Flute), Matt Konsor (Trombone), Lindsey Stubbs (Clarinet), Clarissa Adams (Snare), Nikki Johnson (Horn) 9th/10th Grade Honor Band - Michelle Larsen (Clarinet), Blake Gunderson (Trumpet), Dakota Holcomb (Tuba), Lauren Rollins (Timpani).
These students will be performing at Red Oak High School on January 18th at 7:00pm.
*Katelyn Larsen has made it every year since 7th grade for an unbelievable 6 years in a row. She will be recognized the night of the concert for her excellence as a musician and for her commitment and dedication to the Southwest Iowa Conference.
