UHS National Honor Society Induction Ceremony

Underwood High School held their National Honor Society Induction Ceremony Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 7:00 pm. The Induction was preceded by a 30 minute social, with punch and cake, served by the Middle School Leadership Students, under the advisement of Mrs. Tammy Minssen. Alyssa Blakely welcomed the new members, guests and current members.
Anna Busch and Kelsea Cowgill introduced the present members and guests. The qualifications for National Honor Society members were given by Emily Dawson. Abigal Garreans discussed Leadership; Ben Hall discussed Service; Devon Jensen discussed Character; and Michaelanne Lawrence discussed Scholarship.
Bradley Martin, Meme Palmquist, Mattisen Petersen, and Makayla Stubbs introduced the fifteen new inductees to the audience, and after the introducions, Kara Telfer lead them in the NHS Pledge. Mr. Pearson awarded the certificates, and the Induction Ceremony was given closure by Trevour Yates.
